Veteran wide receiver and return man Brandon Tate signed with the Bills Tuesday.

He spent the last five seasons with the Bengals. Tate, 28, was the Bengals’ primary kickoff returner from 2011-13 and at least shared the punt return duties in all five seasons.

A third-round pick of the Patriots in 2009, Tate has 57 career receptions, six for touchdowns, and has played in 98 career games.

The Bengals released Tate early last week to allow him an opportunity to catch on with another team.

The Bills also announced that cornerback Marcus Roberson has been added to their practice squad.
