Blair Walsh can stay.
For now.
The Vikings kicker missed a 46-yard field goal early in the third quarter Monday night, but after a Xavier Rhodes interception Walsh made a 44-yarder.
The Vikings lead the Giants, 17-3. The Vikings are really good defensively and are going to need better from Walsh, who was 7-of-9 on field goals and had missed two extra points coming into Monday night.
The Giants have struggled to produce and sustain much offense against a swarming Vikings defense. The Vikings have done little in the way of spectacular but quarterback Sam Bradford has been steady, and the Vikings are about a quarter and a half from a 4-0 start.
