Bradshaw, Coleman, Hester named NFC players of the week

Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw, Eagles safety Kurt Coleman and Bears return man Devin Hester are the NFC players of the week.

Bradshaw ran for 104 yards and scored all three of the team’s touchdowns in the Giants’ 27-24 victory over the Bills. Bradshaw had a one-yard rushing touchdown in each of the first three quarters. and set up the game-winning field goal with a 30-yard run in the fourth quarter.

Coleman intercepted Rex Grossman three times, the most interceptions in one game for any NFL player this season, and helped lead the Eagles to a win over the Redskins. His performance also helped John Beck win the starting quarterback job in Washington.

Hester won the special teams player of the week award for the 11th time, the most ever for a return man, after he scored on a 98-yard kickoff return Sunday against the Vikings. Hester has now returned 11 punts, five kickoffs and one missed field goals for touchdowns. Hester also had 91 receiving yards and joins current Raider Jacoby Ford and former Bear Rickey Watts as the only players in NFL history to have a kickoff return touchdown, a touchdown catch and at least 90 receiving yards in one game.
