The team announced that cornerback Brandon Flowers was placed on injured reserve today, making him the 18th player they’ve put on IR this season.
Flowers suffered a concussion in Week 10, and the fact he’s still not cleared indicates the concern transcends the depth in San Diego’s secondary.
The team replaced him on the roster by promoting defensive tackle Kaleb Eulls from the practice squad.
