Multiple off-field distractions did not get defensive back Brandon Underwood booted from the Packers, but his play ultimately cost him this month.

Underwood was trying to convert to safety and was slowed by a knee injury. He’s one of the early Packers cuts, according to reports from Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel and Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

Here are the cuts so far in Green Bay: FB Jon Hoese, WR Kerry Taylor, G Caleb Schlauderaff, CB Brandian Ross, WR Diondre Borel, G Sampson Genus, S Anthony Bratton and WR Chastin West.
