The Broncos have some concerns on the offensive line, so they added a little insurance today.

According to Mike Klis of KUSA, the Broncos have signed veteran tackle Tyler Polumbus.

It’s a homecoming for him, as he grew up in Denver and played at the University of Colorado. But it probably has a lot more to do with left tackle Ty Sambrailo’s shoulder injury.

Polumbus was cut by the Falcons Tuesday. He entered the league with the Broncos, signed as an undrafted rookie by Mike Shanahan. He’s also played for Shanahan in Washington, and spent two years with the Seahawks.
