Broncos-Cardinals a sellout; Cards don’t name a starter yet

The Broncos-Cardinals game at the Big Toaster in Glendale, Arizona has sold out, ensuring that the Cardinals will maintain their sellout streak since moving to their new stadium.

Plenty of Broncos fans should be on hand to watch Eric Studesville’s coaching debut against likely Cardinals starting quarterback John Skelton. That sentence would have blown my mind a few months ago.

Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt won’t name Skelton a starter just yet, but reports out out of Arizona indicate the rookie is likely to get the call. Whiz said Sunday Derek Anderson could have a chance to play if he was medically cleared in time. He hasn’t passed his concussion tests yet.
