The Cleveland Browns got a pair of players back from injured reserve lists on Tuesday.
Cornerback Charles Gaines and running back Glenn Winston were both added to the team’s active roster after missing the first nine weeks of the season.
Gaines (hamstring) was on the reserve/designated to return list while Winston (knee) was on the non-football injury list. Both players returned to practice in Week 7.
The team cleared roster spots but waiving linebacker Jayson DiManche and defensive back De’Ante Saunders.
Winston appeared in five games for the Browns last season. Gaines was a sixth round pick by Cleveland in this year’s NFL Draft.
