The Browns have discovered a new position, or at least a different version of it.

According to Tony Grossi of ESPNCleveland.com, the Browns are signing former Bengals fullback Chris Pressley.

The 5-foot-11, 260-pounder is a blocker like they didn’t bother with much last year under coach Rob Chudzinski, though that’s changing now. With Ben Tate signed to add some heft to the running game, he now has a capable blocker.

Pressley has one career rush attempt and six receptions in 43 games, but that’s not really his job. He missed last season because of a knee injury suffered late in 2012, with the Bengals stashing him on PUP and then waiving him in December.
