The sideline was a dangerous place to be Sunday in Tampa.

Saints head coach Sean Payton broke his leg and tore his MCL in the first half, and Bucs defensive backs coach Jimmy Lake suffered a self-inflicted wound in the second half.

Stephen Holder of the St. Petersburg Times reports that defensive backs coach Jimmy Lake tore his patella tendon late in the game while celebrating Tampa’s game-sealing interception.

The Bucs head to London this week. Lake will reportedly undergo surgery during the team’s bye week, but it’s hard to imagine he could make the trip after this injury.
