Buccaneers owner Bryan Glazer has said that “a lot more games” will be televised in Tampa this year. The new trend won’t be starting with the preseason.

According to Roy Cummings of the Tampa Tribune, the Bucs announced Monday night that Thursday’s preseason opener against the Ravens has been blacked out.

Because the Buccaneers opted once again to take full advantage of the 85-percent rule, the team was required to sell 85 percent of all non-premium tickets to permit the game to be televised in the local market.
