The Buccaneers got the ball first Thursday night and scored first, capping an impressive drive with a touchdown pass from Jameis Winston to Mike Evans to go up 7-0 on the Falcons.
Winston threw the 3-yard touchdown pass to Evans two plays after a touchdown pass to tight end Cameron Brate was overturned by replay review.
The Buccaneers went 75 yards in 13 plays, six runs and seven passes. Winston was forced out of the pocket and was rolling right when he hit Evans in the back corner of the end zone.
Winston was 5-of-7 for 49 yards on the drive. Evans caught three passes for 31.
