MDS brought you the NFC players of the week for Week 10 earlier in the day. I thought that Rosenthal would do the AFC if I dragged my feet long enough, but then I remembered he’s in Connecticut doing his Wednesday video thing or whatever it is that he does that causes him to not be working on PFT for long stretches of time on Wednesdays.

But I’m not bitter.

Also not bitter are Raiders running back Michael Bush, Patriots defensive end Andre Carter, and Titans receiver Marc Mariani. They’re the AFC offensive, defensive, and special-teams players of the week, respectively, for the AFC.

Bush rushed for 157 yards on 30 carries and added three catches for 85 yards in place of Darren McFadden as the Raiders knocked off the Chargers. Carter had 4.5 sacks in a 37-16 win over the Jets. And Mariani returned a punt 79 yards for a touchdown in a 30-3 win at Carolina.

Bush beat out teammates Carson Palmer and Denarious Moore, among others, for the award. Raiders linebacker Kamerion Wimbley, who had four sacks against the Chargers, was one of the finalists for the defensive player of the week award.
