NFC West fans in home markets will be able to watch their teams on television this weekend.
In St. Louis, Rams fans will see if Marc Bulger and the boys can pull off the upset of the year against the Saints.
In Arizona, Cardinals fans can watch the home team try to knock the Seattle Seahawks out of the NFC West race for good. (If Seattle wins, the top three teams will be within one game in the standings.)
The Cardinals have routinely received extensions to sell games out this year, and then delivered. The Rams also required a 24-hour extension and a fantastic promotion. For every ticket sold this week, the Rams donated one ticket to a member of the military.
At least the miserable play of the Rams and subsequent apathy in St. Louis has one bright side to it.
