While most of the free agents can’t (legally, technically) do anything about about 100 more minutes, there are guys who can.
And one of them just did.
According to Mike Garafolo and Peter Schrager of FOX Sports, former Raiders defensive end LaMarr Woodley is expected to sign with the Cardinals.
Woodley was released by the Raiders last week, and could add some of the pass-rush ability the Cardinals need as they re-tool their defense.
He suffered a torn biceps last year, missing 10 games.
Woodley had 35.0 sacks over a three-year stretch with the Steelers from 2008-10, but hasn’t hit double figures since then, and his one-year stretch with the Raiders did nothing to help his value.
