After losing star after star to injuries this season, you can pardon the Cardinals for holding their breath over Larry Fitzgerald’s MRI this morning.

This time, they can exhale.

According to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic, Fitzgerald was diagnosed with a Grade 2 sprain of his MCL, and expects to play against the Seahawks Sunday.

Fitzgerald was able to finish the game, yet they had to be relieved it wasn’t serious.

After placing quarterback Carson Palmer, defensive linemen Darnell Dockett and John Abraham on injured reserve and losing linebacker Daryl Washington to a year-long suspension, the Cardinals have taken star-power hits like few other teams.

Yet they’re still 9-1, the best team in the NFC, with a chance to keep playing at home all the way to the Super Bowl.
