The Cardinals placed a couple of players on injured reserve on Saturday.
Safety Joey Blount and tight end Kenny Yeboah both landed on the list. Neither player will be eligible to be activated during the regular season, although they could play this year if they are released with an injury settlement at some point in the future.
Blount was injured during practice this week. He suffered a season-ending neck injury in Week 1 of the 2025 season, so it’s back-to-back bad breaks for Blount.
Yeboah’s hamstring injury occurred in the Hall of Fame Game on Thursday night. He signed with the Cardinals in June and last saw regular season action with the Jets in 2024.
