The Cardinals lost a key defensive lineman for a few weeks, in addition to last night’s game.

According to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic, Cardinals defensive tackle Frostee Rucker will miss two or three weeks after spraining his MCL in last night’s loss to the Patriots.

The 32-year-old Rucker started the season on the physically unable to perform list after ankle surgery, but was activated halfway through camp.

The former Bengals third-rounder has become a steady performer for the Cardinals, with 8.0 sacks the last two seasons.

Without him, they’ll need more from first-rounder Robert Nkemdiche, which sort of makes this his window of opportunity.
