It isn’t officially football season until the Chargers start sending out press releases regarding whether their home games will be blacked out on local TV.
It’s officially football season.
The Chargers have announced that enough tickets have been sold to allow Thursday night’s preseason opener against the Cowboys to be televised locally.
With an unlikely playoff berth in 2013, the Chargers shouldn’t have many issues when it comes to selling tickets. With visits from the Seahawks, Patriots, Rams, and Jet on the docket for the regular season, the chances of avoiding many/any blackouts throughout the season increase.
