The Chargers have promoted wide receiver Isaiah Burse from the practice squad ahead of Sunday’s game in Denver.

Cornerback Pierre Desir was released. Desir was also released last Saturday when the Chargers determined he wouldn’t be active for the game and needed a roster spot for another player.

Chargers wide receivers Tyrell Williams and Travis Benjamin are both listed as questionable for Sunday’s game. Burse joined the Chargers’ practice squad late last season. He played in 12 games with the Broncos in 2014 and has previously played in one game this season with the Chargers.

Earlier Saturday, the Broncos announced that they have promoted running back Juwan Thompson from the practice squad.
