Two former Chargers players will be joining the team’s Hall of Fame this year.
The Chargers announced that kicker John Carney and wide receiver Anthony Miller will be inducted during their Week 9 game against the Texans. The Chargers will wear navy throwback uniforms for that game.
Carney played for the Chargers from 1990-2000 and is the franchise’s career scoring leader. Carney also played for the Bucs, Rams, Saints, Jaguars, Chiefs and Giants during a career that ran through 2010 and is fifth in scoring in NFL history.
Miller was a 1988 first-round pick and he spent six years with the Chargers. He made four Pro Bowls while compiling 374 catches for 5,582 yards and 37 touchdowns in a Chargers uniform.
