Chris Ballard also not interested in Eagles job

Ballard_Chris

It appears as though Chris Ballard may already have his desired job lined up in the cross-hairs and is already telling other teams he’s not interested in their overtures.

According to Reuben Frank of CSNPhilly.com, the Kansas City Chiefs director of pro personnel is not interested in interviewing for the Philadelphia Eagles general manager position. The Eagles had requested to interview Ballard after their front office shakeup last week that saw Tom Gamble axed, Howie Roseman “promoted” and Chip Kelly with full roster authority.

Ballard had also turned down an interview with the New York Jets for their G.M. opening as well.

Ballard will interview with the Chicago Bears for their general manager position this weekend and it certainly appears to be his desired destination with his lack of interest in interviewing with the Jets and Eagles.

Ballard had spent the previous 12 years working in the Bears organization as an area scout and director of pro scouting before joining the Chiefs in 2013.
