Clemson linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. enters 2024 NFL Draft

Clemson linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. has announced that he’s giving up his remaining NCAA eligibility and will enter the 2024 NFL Draft.

Trotter announced he’s turning pro on social media. He will not play in Clemson’s bowl game.

The 20-year-old Trotter is a finalist for the Butkus Award, which goes to the best linebacker in college football. Trotter is considered one of the best off-ball linebackers in the upcoming draft.

Trotter’s father was a 1998 third-round pick of the Eagles who had three different stints in Philadelphia as well as one in Washington and one in Tampa Bay during a 12-year NFL career.
