The Colts dropped wide receiver Griff Whalen from their injured reserve list Friday.
It seems like there’s going to be a lot of cutting ties going on in Indianapolis. Thursday, ESPN reported that the decision to fire coach Chuck Pagano has already been made.
Whalen was the “quarterback” on the infamous fake punt play in the Colts loss to the Patriots earlier this season. Whalen played in 33 games for the Colts over three seasons, including 14 this year. He was placed on injured reserve Dec. 21.
Whalen handled punt return duties for much of the last two seasons and has 45 career receptions.
