The Colts put starting cornerback Patrick Robinson on their injured-reserve list Tuesday, ending his first season with the team.
Robinson signed with the Colts last March after one season with the Chargers. He broke up five passes and forced a fumble in seven games, six starts.
Robinson suffered a groin injury that kept him out two weeks ago and was shut down after aggravating the injury in practice last week.
No corresponding roster move was announced. The Colts were forced to make a bunch of injury-related moves on Monday, so they could wait until later in the week to assess the health of the roster before deciding how to proceed.
