Cowboys cut WR Traeshon Holden to make room for Von Miller

The Cowboys waived wide receiver Traeshon Holden to make room for the signing of outside linebacker Von Miller, according to multiple reports.

Holden muffed a punt in Saturday’s preseason opener against the Seahawks, while undrafted rookie wide receiver Camden Brown caught three passes for 62 yards and a touchdown.

In 2025, Holden joined the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon. He spent all of last season on the Cowboys’ practice squad.

He did not play in a regular-season game as a rookie.

Holden signed a futures contract with the Cowboys after last season.
