Maybe the Cowboys won’t have room left to sign George Pickens to a long-term deal when the time comes.
Cowboys management has repeatedly said Quinnen Williams was at the top of their list to secure a long-term agreement. They did that Monday.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the defensive tackle has agreed to terms on a three-year, $105.9 million extension. Williams had two years left on his deal, putting him on a five-year, $153.15 million deal.
Williams, 28, will receive $101 million in guarantees.
He is headed into his eighth NFL season, his first full season with the Cowboys, who acquired him from the Jets in 2025 for two high draft picks.
Williams totaled 25 tackles, 1.5 sacks and an interception in seven games in Dallas last season. He made his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl.
