The Cowboys swapped out an injured defensive lineman for an offensive lineman on Sunday.
The team announced the signing of Sebastian Gutierrez to their active roster. Defensive end Charles Snowden was waived with an injury designation to open a spot for Gutierrez in Dallas.
Gutierrez was released by the Patriots last month. He spent part of the 2025 preseason with the Browns and was on New England’s practice squad during the regular season. He has appeared in two regular season games since entering the league as an undrafted free agent in 2022.
Snowden will revert to injured reserve if he goes unclaimed. He was previously suspended for the first three games of the regular season for a Personal Conduct Policy violation.
