Darrius Heyward-Bey out against Steelers

At least in terms of track speed, the Raiders will be without their fastest wide receiver as they take on the defending Super Bowl champions Sunday.

Darrius Heyward-Bey is inactive because of foot injury. He was a late addition to the Week 13 injury report.

The rest of Oakland’s inactives: defensive end Greg Ellis, linebacker David Nixon, wide receiver Javon Walker (he’s still in the league?), offensive tackle Khalif Barnes, guard/tackle Erik Pears, and kick returner Nick Miller.

Charlie Frye is the third quarterback, so ousted starter JaMarcus Russell backs up Bruce Gradkowski.

On Pittsburgh’s side, strong safety Troy Polamalu is out again. Ben Roethlisberger, as expected, will start. Tyler Palko is the third quarterback.

Joining Polamalu in street clothes: offensive tackle Tony Hills, defensive tackle Ra’Shon Harris, defensive end Travis Kirschke, guard Kraig Urbik, cornerback Keenan Lewis, and quarterback Charlie Batch.
