David Diehl started just nine games for the New York Giants at right tackle last year as an injured right knee limited him throughout the season.

Diehl sprained the MCL in his right knee in Week 3 and missed three games with the injury before easing back into the lineup. It took another two weeks before he regained his starting job. According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, Diehl recently had surgery on his right knee and has been going through rehab work at the Giants practice facility.

Diehl is expected to be healthy in time for training camp. Whether that will still be with the Giants remains a question mark.
