Cardinals running back David Johnson is over 100 yards from scrimmage in the second quarter of today’s game at Atlanta, and if it feels like Johnson does that every week it’s because he does.
Johnson has gone over 100 yards from scrimmage in all 11 games this season. He becomes the second player in NFL history to do that over an 11-game stretch.
Former Colts running back Edgerrin James did it in both 2000 and 2005.
Johnson isn’t the only player racking up yardage in the Cardinals-Falcons game. It’s tied, 10-10, midway through the second quarter. Johnson was ruled inches short of the goal line in the first quarter and Carson Palmer threw a touchdown pass to Jermaine Gresham on the next play.
