The Broncos won their game on Sunday in Oakland. Along the way, they lost (at least for Sunday) one of their top pass rushers.
Linebacker DeMarcus Ware was carted off with a back injury. A league source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT it was a simple strain. A team source described the situation as Ware’s back locking up with spasms.
Either way, it’s not believe to be a serious situation. The Broncos next face the Browns in Cleveland, as Denver tries to run its record to 6-0.
