The Broncos listed wide receiver Demaryius Thomas as questionable on their Friday injury report.

Thomas suffered a hip injury in last week’s win over the Panthers, and it sounds like he could end up benefiting from the extra rest the Broncos got from playing that game last Thursday. Thomas said earlier in the week he was sore, and the Broncos listed him as a limited practice participant all week.

Broncos Coach Gary Kubiak told reporters that Thomas “took the reps we wanted him to take” this week and sounded hopeful he’ll have Thomas available against the Colts, who will play without four defensive starters.

I think his steps continue to be good toward game day,” Kubiak said.

The Broncos also list defensive lineman Derek Wolfe (neck) and offensive lineman Ty Sambrailo (elbow) as questionable. Wide receiver Bennie Fowler is the only player the Broncos have ruled out. He’s recovering from an elbow fracture.
