The increasingly depressing story of former Lions receiver Charles Rogers just grew a little more depressing. For him.
The Detroit Free Press reports that U.S. District Julian Cook ruled Rogers owed the Lions $6.1 million of a $9.1-million signing bonus because of his problems with substance abuse.
The Lions sued Rogers last year for failing to comply with a previous ruling. Rogers was sentenced to 93 days in jail after violating his probation for a pair of alcohol-related events.
