The Eagles are set to practice without a couple of their top two wideouts again on Thursday.
Devonta Smith and first-round pick Makai Lemon have been out with hamstring injuries for the last week. Reporters at training camp shared photos and videos of Smith working with trainers ahead of practice while Lemon caught passes from a JUGS machine while standing still, but Eliot Shorr-Parks of WIP reports that neither one will take part in the actual session.
This will make seven straight missed practices for both players.
The pre-practice work is a sign that Smith and Lemon are getting closer to a full return to work. The Eagles open the preseason against the Ravens on Saturday, so a return next week could be in the cards and that would leave a good chunk of time for both players to ramp up ahead of Week 1.
