Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant had a productive game in Sunday’s loss to the Ravens, catching 13 passes for 95 yards and two touchdowns. But afterward he was criticized by Ravens cornerback Cary Williams, who says he’s tired of Bryant begging for flags every time he loses a one-on-one matchup.
For his part, Bryant says he doesn’t care what Williams -- or anyone else outside the Cowboys’ locker room -- thinks.
“I don’t care what anybody thinks,” Bryant said, via the Dallas Morning News. “I only care about what my coaches and what my teammates think. That’s the only thing that matters. Don’t nobody else understands what’s going on. Only this organization.”
Whether Bryant cares or not, some of the critics have valid points -- Bryant has had some big drops this season, including a dropped two-point conversion pass late in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 31-29 loss. But Bryant also deserves credit for leading the Cowboys with 34 catches for 364 yards this season. He’ll have fewer critics if he has more two-touchdown games like he had on Sunday.
