Despite an initial proclamation from Dr. Jerry Jones that receiver Dez Bryant will miss 4-6 weeks after breaking a bone in his foot during a Week One win over the Giants, Bryant won’t make it back for the Week Seven rematch.
The Cowboys officially have downgraded Bryant to out, a day after he was listed as doubtful.
The team didn’t automatically downgrade Bryant to out, even after the team traveled to New York without him -- a move that created the impression that Bryant possibly would travel separately and play.
The question now becomes whether he’ll return for next Sunday’s visit from the Seahawks or the Week Nine Sunday night visit from the Eagles.
