The Dolphins picked up a tight end off the waiver wire on Wednesday.
They announced that they have claimed Jeremiah Franklin and added him to their 90-man roster. Franklin was dropped by the Patriots on Tuesday. The undrafted rookie had 93 catches for 1,010 yards and six touchdowns in 44 games at Boston College.
The Dolphins also announced the signing of defensive lineman Fatorba Mulbah. Mulbah was undrafted out of West Virginia last year and he spent time on the Jets’ practice squad during the regular season.
Defensive lineman Rene Konga was placed on injured reserve and defensive end Seth Coleman-Lyles was waived in corresponding moves.
