Three days after hiring Adam Gase as head coach, the Dolphins officially announced some staff additions and changes.
In addition to hiring former Bengals assistant Vance Joseph as defensive coordinator, the Dolphins also hired four position coaches and named Eric Stokes senior personnel executive.
New linebackers coach Matt Burke follows Joseph from Cincinnati. Shane Day is the tight ends coach after spending the last two years with the Redskins, Chris Foerster is the offensive line coach after spending last season with the 49ers and former NFL wide receiver Shawn Jefferson will be the wide receivers coach after spending the last three seasons in the same role with the Titans.
Foerster was the Dolphins’ offensive coordinator in 2004 and has 23 years of NFL coaching experience.
