Released by the Bills last September, Super Bowl XLI hero Dominic Rhodes tried out for a few teams since without landing a contract.
And like a growing number of ex-NFL players, he’s headed to the UFL in an attempt to reboot his pro career. Rhodes signed on with the Florida Tuskers on Thursday.
“I spoke to Dominic yesterday and he’s excited about resuming his professional career in the UFL with the Tuskers,” coach Jay Gruden said.
Rhodes was a member of the Colts when they handed Jay’s brother Jon one of the worst losses of his pro career, coming from 21 points down late in the fourth quarter to win 38-35 in OT over the Bucs.
