Having already apparently given up on his dream of making Dwight Freeney money, Dwight Freeney is about to hit the road in search of Osi Umenyiora money.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the former Colts defensive end is expected to start taking visits next week, with four or five teams interested.

The Buccaneers apparently have no interest, but the Titans probably do, among others.

The 33-year-old Freeney should generate interest, even though he’s taken a step back in recent seasons.

After posting double-digit sack seasons in seven of his first nine, he has just 13.5 sacks the last two years. It’s reasonable to give him a bit of a pass on last season, as he was asked to stand up in a 3-4 for the first time, but he’s still not finding the market he expected.

A few well-publicized trips might help that process along.
