The Bills may not be the only team who has omitted a high-profile defensive player from the injury report.

Ravens safety Ed Reed told 105.7 The Fan in Baltimore (via ESPN.com) that he has a torn labrum in his shoulder, and that the injury may be negatively affecting his play.

But Reed, who didn’t say when the injury occurred, isn’t listed on the injury report. This year, he appeared on the list only in Week Two, with a thigh injury.

Technically, the admission is enough to get the league office to investigate. Usually, however, Park Avenue doesn’t poke its nose into the situation until the injured player who hasn’t appeared on the injury report blabs about it at least twice.
