Black Friday is coming. Everybody has a Black Friday deal.
We’ve got one. But only one.
On Black Friday only, you can get the Father of Mine ebook for only $1.99.
So don’t buy the ebook this week. Wait until Friday, and get it for $1.99. (I just decided this morning to do it, or I would have said so earlier.)
That’s a bargain. That’s a steal. Less than two bucks for a 400-page book that will give you hours of mild entertainment.
If you didn’t know, or if you have forgotten, Father of Mine is a mob tale inspired by true events in the small town where I was raised. My dad was a bookie for the local crew, so I learned some things by keeping eyes open and mouth shut (for a change).
The print edition will still be $14.99 on Friday, unless Amazon drops the price (which it sometimes does).
Meanwhile, holiday book On Our Way Home is available for $3.99 for the ebook and $9.99 for the print edition. All of my proceeds go to the Humane Society of Harrison County, a local animal shelter. Black Friday, or right now, would be a great time to buy 10 copies to give out as gifts in December.
And for those of you who made it this far, here’s where I say that the contest is open for this week’s copy of a signed version of On Our Way Home. Send an email to florio@profootballtalk.com with “On Our Way Home 11/18/23 Giveaway” in the subject line, with your mailing address and preferred inscription.
Congrats to recent winners Todd in Long Beach and Beth in San Diego, who won the two-book prize from last weekend.
