Garcon inspires Miami school in Little Haiti

Wherever Pierre Garcon has gone in the playoffs, from the AFC Championship podium to his media day stand, the colors of the Haitian flag have not been far behind.

Garcon has one final chance to make a huge impact on the field later today, but FOX’s Alex Marvez wrote he’s already made a difference to the struggling 45-man football squad at Edison High School in Miami’s Little Haiti.

Garcon and Colts running back Chad Simpson, an Edison graduate, have provided an example for the students there, with some help from the NFL along the way. The NFL has sponsored a “Super Learning program” that emphasizes education and anti-violence initiatives.
