There’s a chance the Jets won’t have their best receiver when they play the Bills on Sunday.
Garrett Wilson will be listed as questionable with an elbow injury, head coach Robert Saleh told reporters on Friday. Wilson has been limited in practice with the issue this week.
“We’ll see,” Saleh said of Wilson’s availability, via SNY. “Obviously, I’m not going to speak for him or the docs. There’s a couple of hurdles he has to clear.”
New York has clearly been limited offensively all season, ranking No. 29 in yards, No. 30 in points, and No. 32 with a third-down conversion rate of 25 percent. If Wilson is unable to play, that would be a significant blow to the struggling unit.
Saleh also noted that offensive lineman Billy Turner, linebacker Chazz Surratt, and linebacker Sam Eguavoen have been ruled out.
Offensive tackle Duane Brown and tight end Kenny Yeboah also will not be activated off of injured reserve.
