The Bengals emerged from Week One with a key road win. But they’ll be holding their breath, at least for now.
Per multiple reports, defensive tackle Geno Atkins was carted off the field after the game, and he was helped to the locker room.
After the game, coach Marvin Lewis told reporters that it’s possible that Atkins was simply dehydrated.
Bengals fans surely hope that’s all it is. Atkins suffered a torn ACL last October and missed the rest of the year.
