A new layer of celebrity intrigue was just added to the Greg Hardy domestic violence arrest, bringing the local NBA franchise into the mix.
According to Jonathan Jones of the Charlotte Observer, court documents filed by Hardy’s girlfriend said that the Panthers defensive end was upset “because of her short lived relationship with rapper and Bobcats part owner Nelly.”
Nelly’s a minority owner of Michael Jordan’s Charlotte Bobcats.
That’s not Hardy’s only problem today, as the Observer also reports that the judge in his case modified his bond, requiring him to turn over any weapons or firearms.
The accusers initial complaint said he had a small arsenal of 25 to 30 guns in his home.
