The Giants have deactivated five starters for their Week Twelve tilt with Jacksonville.
New York’s inactive list is as follows: Wide receivers Steve Smith and Hakeem Nicks, newly acquired receiver/returner Devin Thomas, defensive back/returner Will Blackmon, center Shaun O’Hara, offensive lineman David Diehl, left tackle Shawn Andrews, and linebacker Phillip Dillard.
UPDATE: The Jaguars have deactivated wide receivers Tiquan Underwood and John Matthews, left tackle Eugene Monroe, cornerback Terrence Wheatley, defensive end Aaron Morgan, offensive lineman Adam Terry, fullback Brock Bolen, and defensive tackle Nate Collins.
Maurice Jones-Drew will play through an abdominal injury. Mike Sims-Walker is back from his high ankle sprain. The Jags will start ex-Giant Guy Whimper in place of Monroe on quarterback David Garrard’s blind side.
