The Giants announced a pair of additions to their roster on Wednesday afternoon.
They have signed tight end Josiah Deguara and wide receiver Kobe Prentice. No corresponding moves were needed as the Giants had waived wide receiver Ryan Miller and traded offensive lineman Josh Ezeudu in recent days.
Deguara was released by the 49ers earlier this week. He signed with San Francisco in late July and appeared in both of their preseason games.
Deguara had three catches for 21 yards in 12 games for the Cardinals last season. He has also played for the Jaguars and Packers.
Prentice signed with the Panthers after going undrafted this year and he also spent time with the Patriots.
