Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had already done his weekly radio show before Deadspin dropped the photos of Greg Hardy’s domestic violence victim, and coach Jason Garrett had already talked to reporters.
But in the moments afterward, Hardy himself passed through the locker room while reporters were present.
According to Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Hardy “declined media requests” as he left the locker room.
Obviously the Cowboys are in full-blown crisis management mode, and Hardy talking hasn’t really helped anything at any point this season.
But the person we need to hear from is the guy who signed him knowing what those photos might show, and openly discussed extending his contract, and declared him a “real leader.” And who, until this point, has had no problem with anything Hardy has done before or after.
